In order to meet every emergency need, we have a wide variety of services and accommodations available, including a professional physician on site 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to ensure that you receive the care you need. Our highly skilled nursing staff, physician assistants and nursing practitioners are on hand and are equipped with training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Trauma and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Emergency situations at West Branch are cared for based on the severity of the patient’s condition; those that are most seriously injured or ill are treated first. This method is proven to save lives.

In addition, West Branch Regional Medical Center boasts eleven patient treatment rooms, two major trauma rooms and on-site radiology in the emergency wing. In the event of hazardous contamination, we have a decontamination room and an infectious disease room on site for your safety. Each and every room is fully equipped with top-of-the-line monitoring systems to ensure that a patient is comfortable, and that their vitals are constantly observed. This technology provides real-time readings to the nursing desk for all major vitals, including patient temperature, blood pressure, cardiac rhythm and pulse.
