St. Mary’s of Michigan Seton Cancer Institute

At West Branch Regional Medical Center, we understand that cancer is frightening for everyone. That is why we provide a comprehensive network of medical professionals and support staff to help you through the difficult time in the most comfortable manner possible.

In partnership with the St. Mary’s of Michigan Seton Cancer Institute and the Oncology Hematology Association of Saginaw Valley, we are able to bring you both hope and healing.  Through these distinguished organizations, patients can begin with cancer prevention and detection programs and continue through state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technology.

Through our unique cancer treatment and support services, such as nutritional counseling, support groups, rehabilitation and pet therapy, our cancer professionals are dedicating to sharing the journey with patients and helping lead them to good health and well-being. Our Cancer Rehab Specialists are here to help with pain, swelling, mobility issues, strength and endurance and cancer related fatigue. While our dieticians offer ideas for meal selections both during and following treatment to ensure patient comfort.

Cancer Treatment Services offered at West Branch Regional Medical Center include:

  • Radiation Therapy
  • 3-D Radiation Therapy
  • Chemotherapy
  • Image-Guided Radiation Therapy

West Branch also houses a new digital mammography unit for early detection of breast cancer. Mammograms play a pivotal role in the detection of breast cancer because they can detect changes that are too small or subtle to be felt. The new digital mammography machine allows radiologists to magnify the images or even change the color contrast in order to pinpoint possible concerns.

If you or a loved one is in need of compassionate cancer treatment or advice, contact the professionals at West Branch Regional Medical Center to find out what is right for you. Please call with any questions at (989) 342-3292.
